A Financial Literacy Game for College Students

BACKGROUND

As part of Invesco QQQ’s partnership with the NCAA, Invesco QQQ committed to producing a financial education program for student-athletes to help them develop healthy financial habits and make informed financial decisions, while building Invesco QQQ brand awareness and familiarity.

Building on many brand-focused curricula we have developed through the years, Estuary was engaged by Invesco QQQ to design a curriculum for a highly differentiated and culturally-inclusive financial literacy curriculum to serve university students across the wealth spectrum.
We created an in-depth analysis of existing financial literacy programs and conducted research with our target audience to identify the topics that were most top-of-mind for them.
We developed detailed content maps, including learning objectives and messaging outlines for each of 5 key financial principles and 10 practical topics.
We worked closely with multiple creative agencies to ensure that the messaging was brought to life in game scripts that would accurately convey the curriculum to students
